Mogget—Yrael—Sky

On September 1, 2023, Mogget (Yrael Sky, The 8th Bright Shiner) crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

At first, this beloved cat was rescued by my older sister, Jackie. Jackie named him Sky, and he was a faithful companion.

When Jackie was dying in January 2017, she asked my daughter if she would take him. Of course, Lysa said yes. She and one of her very best friends, David, adopted him. Ultimately, Mogget chose David as his person. David loved him gently and fiercely and completely. They bonded, and it was a beautiful thing.

It was a sad day when Mogget took his last journey. However, I find myself thinking about him with joy because I know he spent most of his brief life with people who loved and cherished him.
