Tinderbox Poetry Journal

In June 2014, the Tinderbox Poetry Journal published its first online volume of poetry and conversations. Since then, Tinderbox has expanded to include book reviews and has published poems by hundreds of poets.

This is a lovely, wonderful publication—well worth reading—and I am honored to have had three book reviews published by Tinderbox:

Inside Out: Poems on Writing and Reading Poems with Insider Exercises (by Marjorie Maddox—book published in 2020 by Kelsay Books). Tinderbox Volume 6; Issue 6—January 2021

Blackbird (by Laura Grace Weldon—book published in 2019 by Grayson Books). Tinderbox Volume 7; Issue 1—April 2021

Rattle & Numb: New and Selected and New Poems, 1992-2019 (by John Burroughs—book published in 2019 by Venetian Spider Press). Tinderbox Volume 7; Issue 4—December 2022

I cannot say enough good things about the quality of this publication. I am inspired by the poetry and have found new books to read in the book review section. The group of individuals who produce Tinderbox are passionate about their work, and it shows. Check out the links to my book reviews—but also pause and read work by other poets and writers. Prepare to have your socks knocked off.
